Introduction: Vincent A. Battaglia (1925-2006) Distinguished Boston artist, famous for his paintings of Boston's North End, Beacon Hill and the New England countryside. Mr. Battaglia painted in acrylics, a water-based paint medium to capture the emotion in his famed Boston scenes. His immense talent is displayed in his ability to paint in various styles; realism, impressionism, naive or primitive, contemporary, and classic. Vincent's art has shown in numerous galleries and scores of other venues, including many juried art shows throughout New England. His art resides in the permanent collections of corporations, such as the Boston Stock Exchange and State Street Bank, private homes, and can be seen today in many ristorantes and cafes throughout Boston's North End.
